Craved by the Mountain Man

Sophie is like the sister I never had. We met at college and hit it off immediately, so when she invited me to visit her in Colorado after graduation, I couldn’t wait. She warned me about her grumpy dad, but nothing could have prepared me for meeting Maverick. He’s built like a giant, with a thick beard and eyes like a summer sky. My body is reacting to him in ways I’ve never felt before, and the guilt is eating me alive. I shouldn’t be feeling this way about my best friend’s dad, but when I end up in the wrong bed in the middle of the night, there’s no turning back.

I adopted Sophie when her parents died and devoted myself to being the best father I could. I’ve made sacrifices to give my kid the life she deserves, avoiding relationships so I could be there for her. Now she’s all grown up, and I’m a middle-aged grump, a lone wolf who doesn’t need anybody. At least, that’s what I thought. But when Sophie invites her friend to visit, everything changes. Tessa is a gorgeous curvy girl, and I can’t keep my eyes off her. I know it’s wrong. She’s my daughter’s best friend and so much younger than me, but with the tension growing between us, I don’t know how much longer I can resist.
